Do you like Waluigi?

warelander

Some random guy online
Waluigi is a pretty odd character, never appears in anything other than spin offs, not a Wario character and yet still more well known than his actual supporting cast.

Which makes me wonder what this forums opinion on him is.

I love him personally, shure he may no be an actual part of the Wario franchise but he is so wacky amd nuts that I just can't help but enjoy his antics:

I also love his little adventures with Wario :

The fact that he is a walking Wrecking Crew reference jut cements my positive opinions on the guy.

What do you guys think of him?

I think he's a pretty cool guy, and would fit in with the Wario cast. But I sadly can't like him as much as I like Wario characters, because he needs to break the spin-off barrier, even if it means appearing in more Mario games instead of Wario's.

And as I had already said, I don't like how Camelot made him and Wario laughingstock from Mario's perspective in MGTT/MPT, but that's not Waluigi's fault.

I can totally imagine Waluigi as a microgame host, with games on the same level of insanity as the Bitf Waluigi strips:

It may just be me but Waluigi beeing part of the Ware cast just feels right to me:

Oh yeah and Waluigi's Woods needs to happen as well:

Wow, that biker Waluigi looks so cool! That's exactly the kind of design I was thinking if he was to become one of the Diamond City pals.

Here is a another pic, made by the same artist:

It really is a fantastic design and I would love to see Waluigi includet in the Ware cast, because he really has it just as hard as them and who knows, his inclusion might become a selling point for some.

I like Waluigi. He's so lame he's awesome.

For some reason, I alway pictured a WarioWare'd Waluigi as being patterned after a punk from Hokuto No Ken (mohawk, bare chest, you get the idea). Is that wrong, doctor?

He's ok but he needs more of a personality. Look at Wario. Wario is the opposite of Mario. Where Mario is brave and kind, Wario is mean and selfish. Now let's look at Luigi and Waluigi. Luigi is known for being a coward, but what does this mean for Waluigi? If Luigi's a coward then does this mean that Waluigi is brave or is Waluigi even more of a coward then Luigi?

I'd say Wario and Waluigi are not the opposite of Mario and Luigi. They are an exaggeration of their negative traits.

Mario has a slight dark side where he can be greedy, gluttonous, and egotistical. Wario is those things magnified.

Luigi's negative side can be jealous, cynical, with a low self-esteem. Waluigi seems to exhibit those qualities too.
