God, it's been so long hasn't it?

Pretty sure I do as well. Honestly, it all feels like it was merely yesterday.

Then again, I feel like I'm much younger than I actually am as well...

I only thought it was like 3 or 4 years ago when the game came out. It hasn't felt like 8 years. ._.

You know, WLTSD probably didn't sell enough for them to think wario land is even profitable. I just hope there'll be WL on the nx. If not I'd say the series is dead. At least it would have ended on a positive note. That's not saying it IS the end. What with proton Jon's lp and them releasing MoD on Wii u virtual console there may be a chance. I'm certain if we put our heads together to see if we can revitalize the series we'll get more WL games. After all as the Wario Forums it only seems like our primary objective at the moment.

The health of the forums crushes my heart in regards to people being interested in WL. *Cries* People would rather draw Ashley or make Waluigi memes. I know the whole "oh but that's something" mentality and "maybe they'll become fans" but that really hasn't translated into anything really meaningful.

I agree with CM30, maybe because we're older, time seems to fly faster, way faster, so to us, it does feel like the Wii U is still fresh.

A friend said to me that when you reach 21 years of age, your life feels like it goes 4x as fast as before... Gosh, feels like yesterday I was still collecting treasures to get 100% on Wario Land Shake it.......

I remember like it was yesterday that on the day of release, right after school I went to the gamestore as fast as I could on my bike, then raced home as fast as could (more than 10km at the time).
I just sat home, felt amazed that there are STICKERS IN THE MANUAL OMG!! Yanked the game in my Wii and got lost in the game for a while. ^_^

I mean, it's been eight whole years since Wario Land Shake It was released. Eight years!

That's longer than the gap between 4 and Shake It was (seven years). Pretty depressing, isn't it?

Anyone else feel kind of old because of this? Or even just feel shocked that so much time has gone by?

I feel elderly after being reminded of it just now...

The older you get the more small a span of time seems.

See as you put on years, the percentage of your life a single year represents gets smaller and smaller.

Think of it this way. To a 5 year old kid one year is precisely 20% of their life. That's an awful lot. To a 10 year old kid one year is 10% of their life. But to a 20 year old, one year is 5% of their life. How long one year seems keeps becoming smaller the more years you add up.

My first Wario game was WarioWare for the GBA, which was imo, the first and best WarioWare title for the series. I always liked Wario (before i liked Mario actually). I didn't get to really love him until I played Wario Land a year back when I was 17 though
