Videogame songs that you find underrated

Share the love for gaming songs that you think deserve more attention than they are usually given.

A few choices of mine would be:

I can say plenty of bad things about Sticker Star, but the soundtrack certainly isnt deserving of it.

When people think of Mega Man 8's music they will most likely point to Electrical Communication, which is an awesome track, but the international intro song isn't too shappy either and it was always a good excuse for me to leave the intro running, everytime I booted up the game. ^^

Time Hollow was always one of those games that I wanted to pick up, but never got too, the song from the trailers never left my head thought...

The entire Wario Master of Disguise soundtrack. Absolutely amazing, but utterly ignored by the 'mainstream':

On that note... probably songs from any Wario game in general. Wario Land Shake It's music, while not great, is a lot better than its given credit for, and the first 4 games and World have a soundtrack up there with any Mario games, Donkey Kong games or Yoshi's Island in terms of quality.

Armored Core 4/For Answer (later is bassically an expansion pack so I feel safe bundling them together). Kota Oshino really outdid himself.

In addition to what CM30 posted, I don't have much to add, as I think Wario music in general is overlooked. So it'd end up looking too much like my favorites list. So... I'll keep it to only three songs I especially enjoy and don't think I ever saw being specifically mentioned as good:

Because it captures the wacky/silly yet friendly atmosphere of Diamond City very well. And unlike other games, it's a song used for the whole place, not just where WarioWare Inc. is.

I see many mentions to the Domino Rows, Crescent Moon Villages, Palm Tree Paradises and Pinball Zones of the like, but this calm little tune is barely remembered.

I never saw this being mentioned either. It's pretty cheerful and sounds cool.

If we are talking Wario music, than this is the first thing that comes to my mind:

I always love it when a song can make me smile by just humming the melody and this song makes me smile, more than any other song I can think of.
When it comes to music that I like my opinion is pretty much all over the place, so I can't really name a full (non-Wario) soundtrack that I could deem especially umderratet, but due to my dissapointment of Smash For not including any Mega Man remixes past 3, I figured why not post about some of these songs, since they are among my favorite videogame songs ever:

Easily my favorite Weapon get theme in the series, it just sounds so heroic it makes you feel like you really accomplished something.

Such a wasted song, the only stages you hear it in are the boss rush stage and the room before the final boss...

King stage 2 is HELL, but if anything it at least helped me to grow a much bigger liking to this song, since I initially didn't care for it all that much.

My favorite 8-Bit song ever!
This was the song I wanted to be remixed more than any other song... oh well, there are good fan remixes out there, so it's not all bad.

I've heard the game based on the Kevin Costner movie Water World is bad...but I can say for sure that, at the very least, its music is a redeeming feature.

I'm sure these songs would have been considered classics in video game music had the game itself been good.

This one also makes me smile! It's a beautiful ending song that fits the theme of pretty music boxes. :)

But I may like this one more because it feels more comic and Warioish. VforVictory:

I have replayed Super Mario RPG and Mega Man 7 recently and while I think that both games have amazing soundtracks I want to bring special attention to those two songs:

A very unusual Wily song, but that's what makes it stand out in the first place, also: that guitar. <3

Such a peppy song, it always makes me grin like an absolute idiot. ^^

Kind of funny how those two songs are the complete opposide of eachother, one is ominous and epic while the other one is happy as all get out, that was totally intentional of course. *whistles*

Many:

Dan's theme from Street Fighter 4:

The DKC cartoon Mine cart chase scene theme(Starts at 10:49):

The Boss theme from Mario Party 4:

DK's theme from MP6:

Do the Mario:

And that's all I got.

Gungriffon Blaze has what must be one of the most hot-blooded, ball to the walls soundtrack in the entire medium. Behold:

You can debate all day on wether or not Sonic Labyrinth was just meh or outright terrible, the only thing I will say regarding this game is that I friggin' love this song.

Oh, here's some kinda underrated music:

From Mario Pinball Land:

It was a crap game with an actually pretty good soundtrack.

On that point, pretty much all the Mario Party series has decent to great music, although it's ignored simply cause Mario Party is a series of party games (and only adventure/RPG music tends to be remembered by many people).

Itadaki Street/Fortune Street had a great soundtrack:

Mario Power Tennis has some neat remixes too, especially of the Luigi's Mansion song:

Outside of Mario, quite a few obscure SNES games have nice music too. Like Rudra no Hihou:

Oh, and Wario Blast. That game's got some decent music, even if it's more on the level of 'catchy' than anything else:

So it is basically a bad ''pre-Sonic Boom'' Sonic game.
No offense but I could go a or two without some dump "lulz Sonic sux/has sucky games" comment, there is already enough pessimism regarding the franchise and it's future as it is, I don't need to have the fact that it had bad games shoved into my face every day of the fucking millenium.

To go back on topic, I think this is an extremly overlooked gem:
