I think Wario has more endurance and can take more of a beating than DK. But when it comes to brute strength, I think DK has him beat.

So in a battle to the death, I'm not sure who'd win. But in an arm wrestling contest, DK would be victorious.
 
DK isn't the smartest in Nintendo, but he can take a beating, he is pretty good at fighting. If it were a fight to the death, one or two lucky punches from DK and Wario is dead, or knocked out.
 
Some one should draw this scenario in the punch out style after all DK was in that game and he was beaten by a much smaller man than Wario.
So it just leads me to wondering if all you'd need to do is outsmart the gorilla.

 
That's like saying "DK jr beat Mario, so Mario is weak." Also Mario and DK didn't even fight, the railings came off. But you are right about wario losing to Mario, since they really did fight.
 
obviously, according to smash, samus without her suit is more powerful than samus with her power/ varia/ gravity suit.

COME ON, GET WITH IT GUYS!

Mario fought DK several times in Mario VS Donkey Kong.

Anyway, my point was that it doesn't matter how strong or weak you are. You can still win a battle by other means than pure strength.

Even though I don't think Wario is as strong as DK I still think Wario would win in a fight. Wario can survive almost anything. The guy can be crushed flat and just brush it off.
 
It likely depends on the environment. DK is much more mobile when he can swing around, but on more even ground, I have to give it to Wario. He constantly outfights foes much larger than himself, and there isn't much DK would be able to do to combat something like the Earthshake Punch.
 
Would you say Mario would win a fight against Wario? Because Mario would kick his ass without even breaking a sweat. Mario has some pretty great feats. now if punching a moon down to earth isn't changing your mind than I don't need to argue. DK would win.
