For the most part yeah. Look at the 'simulators' on Steam, we've got them for the most ridiculous things known to man.
Of course, whether they're good games depends heavily on the original...

Personally I feel it's ridiculous (and they'd had a decent shot of winning a court case), but I guess their lawyers must have thought otherwise given the early settlement.
A good revival would be to make it a transformation type, but more like Wario Land 4, but with more stages! Wario Land 4 is actually much closer to Wario Land II than it is to Wario Land 3, and you'd be surprised at the similarities they share...
Congrats! Nintendo 3DS Central is steadily working it's way to 10000 posts, and will most likely reach it's goal within the year! Currently we're at 8300 posts, so not too much longer!

If Luigi's Mansion 2 and 3 are anything to go by, a new Wario World game could be the start of something amazing. Imagine it becomes a full sequel with the insane quality and visual fidelity of the later Luigi's Mansion titles!
I mean, the activity of this place feels more like a reflection of the state of internet forums right now than the Wario community in particular.
And true, they're definitely a lot more seperated than I'd have expected. Wish they'd use the same...
