Based on the goings on with @shinespeciall's editor tool, @Blanchon's LUA based Wario Land 3 hack and @Tiger21820's Master Quest, I think there may be a better chance than ever of at least one Wario Land game finally developing a sizable modding community, and that it may potentially help bring some interest back to the forums in the process.
Plus we seem to be doing okay at the custom content and programming front too, which is especially useful for a new modding scene. New Super Mario Bros Wii seems to be struggling since the only people who know how to add custom... well, almost anything are Newer Team, whereas Super Mario 64 ROM hacking is booming due to people going wild with custom elements and personal creativity.
But yeah, what do you think? Do you think we're on the verge of seeing a decent size ROM hacking community develop for at least one Wario Land game?
