What websites and creators do you miss from the olden days?

For me, I miss the Zelda fan site scene. I used to follow so many of those in the 90s and 00s, including Rauru's Return, Zelda Legends, Kasuto.net, etc, and almost all of them are either now dead or completely inactive.

I also kinda miss the old school Let's Plays people made for ROM hacks and what not.

But what about you? What ones do you miss?

last.fm, while still alive has significantly less features than it used to be and it's showing. It used to be a full MySpace alternative with a full focus on music and less customization (yknow so it wasn't eyevomit levels but still a lot) and now all it is is music tracking as well as comments.

additionally, Fully fleged ROM sites, before modern-net where they had full profiles, forums and ratings for games was another place I typically would hang out in, because when I was younger it was much harder for me to get video-games myself and had to stick to spotty games from decade old systems. Now because of copyright they're just downloads, which isn't bad but it feels a little more lame
