I personally like the idea that Wario is just as much an enemy to Bowser as he is to Mario. Wario strives to be Mario's greatest enemy, so Bowser is in the way of that by also trying to be his greatest enemy...

Lonk from Pennsylvania is kind of a blast from the past. I remember being obsessed with the dumb looking bastard back then, and I would include him as a Mii sword fighter in fights between Link and Toon Link when Smash 4 first came out.
