And kudos to you for going a different way. Just outta curiosity, what didn't you like about WL3? And what mechanics are you adding from it, into your game?

Yeah, I might not be the biggest fan of WL3 but I really like the ideas the game has. So much so, it's the main inspiration for the game I'm making.

And there's still so much room for more. So far, they've all leaned towards 4, but there's a lot of potential for 3. It's a massive game where the levels keep changing as you progress. Also the night and day mechanic would be another cool thing...

The Wario Land games were very creative for their times and uniqueness is usually what makes indie games succeed I feel like.

It's wild how many indie games Wario has inspired. Feel like we've almost beaten the Mother series at this point.
