Well it was made by the same team. That's one of the reasons why I love the first WarioWare so much. It was R&D1's last Wario game before passing the torch and going their separate ways. -

Gotta love how inconsistent the visuals are here. Wario looks like Wario Land 1 and Mario looks like the original Super Mario Land, and it clashes so much lol

The micro game where you have to get the power up before Mario was definitely my favourite The first WarioWare will always be my favourite. R&D1 really went all out.

Oh yeah it's always neat to see the Wario Car for sure. Same with the vehicle's appearances in Mario spinoffs like Mario Kart.

I think the suprise Starfox game worked best because of the Mario Galaxy movie. Fox was still fresh in everyone's heads, so now was the smartest time to push out a new game.

Yeah I sadly see them announcing it that way. Which is a bit anticlimactic, though it'll end up in a Direct at some point if it isn't released in the next few months.

Rhythm Heaven Groove, Starfox, and finally leading up to July 23rd is Splatoon Raiders, but after that there's like no flagship titles or nothing (besides OOT remake), I thought for sure they'd announce stuff for later in the year but now I think...
