Thanks a lot! I actually already use Krita, I'm a Linux user with KDE as my desktop environment so it's suits me great! It also has an Animation Workspace so I also make the sprite animations for game in it.

Sounds like you're looking for something more akin to Wario Land but there is a Warioware mod. Youtuber left all the info in the description. Think TF2Ware, uses minecraft's mechanics for cool minigames.
