Yeah it's kinda just what I'm used to really. Plus, I get more attached to songs from media I watch in general compared to music created for its own sake.
Yeah, WarioWare also has a sense rhythm. Especially with stages that have special songs in it (like Drifting Away in Dribble and Spitz' stage, best stage btw).

had a fun moment at arcade yesterday. rhythm games are just like warioware, but every microgame is a boss stage that lasts 2 minutes with just a little bit more execution! :dancingspacebunny:

I first came across Wario via Super Mario Land 2 where he was the main villain, though it was the first Wario Land game that really endeared him to me.
Wario Land 1 and Wario Land 4 for sure. Those are the two I grew up with.

here is wario doing the akira slide i drew few days ago. i put a lot of time sketching the bike to get the perspective right, but then i kinda got lazy and...
