Finally, some just desserts for Wario's laziness this Valenbrainz Valentine's Day.
While likely a predictable holiday, I'm documenting it here anyway for posterity.
Setsubun marks two holidays in a row (if Wario's Smash anniversary counts as one) where Wario is greedy enough to steal the special holiday spotlight from his employees.
Although, given all of Wario's transformations, perhaps some folk in Japan...
Just one more day and we're back to Christmas itself; the holiday that started it all.
Now what's left to do is to collect up everything we've missed. Sports Day, we shall avenge thee.
Don't forget the WarioWare website celebrations, too!
Now, here's hoping that we can get an epic WarioWare game in 2026; the signs look to be there, except for Rhythm Heaven Groove that might mess the cadence up.
Perhaps a long shot, but might it be possible it was the core WarioWare creative team (Goro Abe, Ko Takeuchi, and the Paper Mario team of Intelligent Systems) that pushed for this to be released and/or made the trailer? Perhaps the same Wario...
I've said this before and will say this again: Princess Shokora would make a great Fantasy genre stage host. Her comparatively straight-laced nature even in cat form would contrast well against the trouble Dribble and Spitz find themselves in.
