It's been ridiculous here in the UK, to the point that the government sent an emergency alert saying wildfires were likely and that things like barbecues and fireworks should be avoided at all costs.

And it's been barely rained either. There's rain due this coming week (Tuesday onwards), but damn, it's been bone dry for weeks now. It's genuinely kinda scary, and makes climate change even more apparent than it already was.

But what's it been like in your area?
 
I'm currently in vacation in Spain and the weather's good there but when I was in France there was terrible heatwave. A lot of elderly people unfortunately went to the hospital and some them passed way so yeah it was really terrible.
 
Not as bad as it was a month ago, but we still got some Forrest fires going on here in BC. It's clearing up a bit, day by day, but I still keep getting these nose bleeds from the smoke which is annoying.

So, the weather's reasonable in Spain? Kinda surprised given how brutal it's been elsewhere in Europe, like the aforementioned France.

Well now it's not reasonable anymore. Guess it was just the first days of my arrival, huh?
