I had a feeling that it would, way back when I first got my hands on the N64SoundListTool. It probably exceeded my expectations on that front, potentially, because some of the instruments/samples I found I wasn't even aware were in MP2, like the Rhodes Elec. Piano (5,0) or Percussive Organ (18,0), or some of the percussion.
Some of my favorite moments while making it include finally finding the Synth Choir and Synth Vox toward the very end, and the intense feeling of "YYES" experienced on finally coming across the Quack.
