well ain't that pathetic! they've been giving me these popups too, out the ass but i added it to my adblocker and they haven't shown since. one of them did say video player will be blocked though so that's not good news. vid.me ended too early, didn't she? ;3;

i got the vid player blocked, turned my adblocker off and on again, and now I don't get those messages anymore
edit: the message popped up again, and it was the last straw message, but the vid still plays, so how do i add it?

how do i get rid of this one?

update: i've temporarily removed ublock origin and am currently trying out adnauseam to see if that works with my situation

if it comforts you, this is an inevitable assblast to them considering they're actually breaking a w3c guideline (that they're apart of) lmfao

actually saw a video about the cobra effect and youtube doing this (all the way back in may, although i didn't notice it back then), which, basically, means, while they try to fix a problem, that exacerbates it or causes a new problem entirely

ngl at this point i just dismiss the pop up by going into fullscreen or the front page with miniplayer, the point i'm making here is corporate greed

update: i haven't seen the pop up in a few days, i think they gave up
