Oh that's what you meant. Although not actually interested in the Olympic Games series I really wish they would expand the roster. I don't see why they added in new characters just to be "guests". What's holding them back from being used in other modes?
Yeah and I didn't want to derail it from a Wario topic.
I agree. Nintendo is already heavily expanding the Smash Bros. rosters in general, I don't understand why Sega and Nintendo would do the same for this. Both series get to give fanservice for their most popular franchises.
There's a mario sports section where it could possibly fit if you want to say a bit more. I think Sega's in charge of those games so I guess it's their fault or maybe Nintendo is holding them back for some reason.
I think Miyamoto manages the development team when they work on it, so I think Nintendo definitely is trying to gain some authority somewhere. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was them making all of the decisions though.
Well I'm not so sure how much the whole "miyamoto sticker star" thing applies to most game development but now I am interested to see what kind of relationship Nintendo has with these games since for the longest time I only knew they mostly published the games.
I don't think it's so much the sticker star treatment or status, more like Miyamoto had to be there to satisfy Nintendo's portrayal of the Mario characters since they're so protective. I watched a video earlier of character victory poses from the game and most of the Sonic characters that would normally talk otherwise were almost silent or had a small laugh.
