im not for or against him, but i can feel that there will be uncertainty for quite some time. hopefully his presidency is as promising as his electoral speech.

Oh pffft, theres nothing to be scared about : p Dont buy into the "hes gonna turn everyone against everyone" nonsense, thats just how politics work, make your opposition look bad to gain votes : p Not much is going to change besides a few things on how the nation is ran, no one is gonna suddenly lose their rights : p
And besides, with Hilary's threats at Russia, Im kinda glad she lost : p Was more afraid of Hilary than Trump : p

yeah, nothing to be scared about if you're a straight white male. it's the minorities that are scared. I mean, trump's behavior has lead to an increase in hate crimes, towards muslims especially, people are thinking it's okay to be racist/sexist, people are thinking it's okay to harass women, lgbt are now more afraid to come out, people are killing themselves because of this. it's just. scary.

@ckd i think its the other way around where i live. you pretty much get assaulted for not being in line with the liberal party. btw im part hispanic and part lebanese. never heard of any trump fans hurting anyone.

edit: speaking of which, theres a bunch of people on the news rioting over the election results 0.0

in fact @ckd, youd be surprised at how much hate there is for white males at this point.

maybe not hurting, but they're definitely harassing. hate towards muslims is reaching higher levels similar to those after 9/11. also, hated on or not, white males still have privilege. nobody would threaten to ban them from the country.

i can see your point. to deny that theres no prejudice going on is the epitome of denial, but equally so to say that the prejudice is one sided.
also, i dont believe any sane and good minded person would vote for a fundamentally aggressive and bigoted person, let alone half the country. and i dont believe half the country is racist aggressors either. i believe most people are naturally good willed and of decent intelligence.
and whether or not i agree with their decision, they voted.

Hate towards Muslims? Is there any actual proof of that, or are people just making that claim? I have not heard any talk against Muslims by Trump, unless you consider bringing up the violent acts by the Muslim immigrants from Syria hate speech, though whether or not you do, its an actual problem. I have not met a Trump supporter who legit hates Muslims. Maybe the religion of Islam itself, but beliefs are not the same as something like race, and should be questioned. And not agreeing with a belief is not equal to hating those who believe it.

Though I do believe this is a part of why Trump won this election. Many people are getting tired of this whole being villainized thing for having a different opinion. I mean not even being able to bring up the violence in Islam without being called "racist", or being called sexist for not voting for Hilary, when much of her contributions come from Saudi Arabia, a nation known for discrimination against women. People should not let themselves be ruled by fear of being called these things, especially if these things lead to more trouble.
