About the Crossover side of things...

I have been thinking about how in the past we had some new members that were confused about whether or not a certain game qualifies for the crossover section:

and then I remembered that several members here are also on DK Vine, who have their own "cameo games" section and are quite organized about it.

So I figured that we as a community could define for ourselfs what we cover as ''Crossover Games" and make a sticky thread in the Crossover forum so that newcomers don't need to be confused about what's up.

I put a list of games that could qualify as crossovers (which means having a decent amount of Wario/Wario series presence) into the spoiler tap:

A few things I'd like to note:

-Super Mario Land 2 obviously isn't a crossover, but there really isn't a more fitting place for it.

-Mario & Wario, Wario's Woods and Wario Blast while still technically Wario games are still grouped with the crossover, no changes here.

-I'm not sure about Band Brothers P and don't know enough about Rythm Tengoku or Rythm Heaven Fever to know if the Alien Bunny appearences in those games could count as a crossover or just a simpel cameo.

-The Vaporware games are only listed out of competionalism and can be disregarted.

So what does anyone here think of this idea, any objections?

Super Mario Land 2 is to the Wario series what Donkey Kong arcade is to the Donkey Kong series. But unlike DK Vine, we'd probably better cover the former somehow, since it's not Wario's grandfather appearing in Six Golden Coins...

But it seems like a reasonable list.

I always wondered if it would be reasonable to declare Land 2, Mario & Wario and Wario's Woods as our equivalent of the Donkey Kong Arcade trilogy and give them their own grouping as an "early era of Wario" or something, given that they are very alike in certain areas:

Both feature early villainous depictions of Wario/DK (technically Cranky in DK's case, but you get what I mean), that have since then been mostly abandoned, neither Wario or (an adult version of) DK star in any of the games, instead the main characters are Mario/Wanda/Toad and Mario/DK Jr/Stanley repectivly and both franchises have since then gone into new directions, that let the old games stand out like a sore thumb.

So yeah, that's one thing we could do, but either way I'm all in favor of covering Land 2 somehow.
