Anyone else amused by how WW predicted the mobile gaming boom?

Think about it: A guy and his gang of hacks get inspired by the success of an handheld vidya preodominantly featuring a red bird and flood the market with simplistic, low quality titles... and become rich for it. And just as Wario refuses to pay his friends at the end of the first game, some popular mobile game makers have been quick to burry or ignore their source of inspiration (well ok this is a stretch).

More uncanilly though, some WW microgames over the year are decidedly similar to popular mobile games (To take one example, the Steel Chef microgame in Touched basically is Fruit Ninja).

It's not all that hard of an observation to make, but hey. Anyone else noticed?

Yeah, I find that interesting as well. Of course, WarioWare realises that said games aren't too entertaining for more than about three goes, so packs in both around 200 of them and an interesting framing device in the form of the characters and storylines. Perhaps more mobile devs need to take note of that aspect of the WarioWare series, aka come up with their own unique characters and stories to go with their two second experiences.
