I'm not a fan of open-world games in general so I'll pass on that regardless of its quality. Surprised to see voice acting, I did expect Nintendo would start to use it again in this era but in this game. This gives me hope for a new Wario game.
I know the Mario canon is not to be taken seriously or whatever but at the beginning of the DKC series, it was established that the Donkey Kong that kidnapped Pauline was Cranky and that Donkey Kong of now is Cranky's grandson. Afterwards, Mario and DK started to be starred in the same game meaning DKC now takes place in parallel of the Mario games.... Now, you're telling me that Bananza takes place in the past when Pauline was a kid? Wow... Get Kirby fans on the case, they always manage to make sense of nonsensical plots!
