[Poll] Favorite game franchise?

If I had to list them....

Wario Land, of course
Mario, though I've been following it less for some odd reason.
Donkey Kong Country. Amazing series, and for us Americans, the old trilogy is finally on the eShop! Yes!
Sonic the Hedgehog. Been following that one a long time.

And despite only having experience with two games, Puyo Puyo is already on its way on becoming another one. I might also get a Retro Duo (a clone console) to play a Madou Monogatari game, since it's the precursor to Puyo Puyo, and it's the first time I even considered getting a JRPG untranslated. Not to mention the Retro Duo is mostly region-free.

The Rune Factory series is my favorite franchise. I also really like Harvest Moon a bunch.

I like the Tales of franchise, though I only really like a few of them : p

Im a big fan of The Legend of Zelda, a few of them are some of my favorite games.

I like Mario a bunch, games like Mario 64 and TTYD are some of my favorites.

Although Ive only played a few of them, I really liked Fire Emblem, its a way fun turn based strategy RPG game.

I like Metroid, but I honestly only liked the Metroid Prime series : p

There's a disturbing lack of Zelda love here. I like Mario and Wario a bunch, but Zelda is the franchise that I "follow like a religion", as the OP puts it.
