Yeah, that's Rawk Hawk, the Whomp King, Mouser and Wart at Bowser and Peach's wedding. The latter two appeared in the sequel, but damn, a Paper Mario character in a major role would have been so cool.

Honestly, I feel that Paper Mario is now a shadow of its former glory in which, I hope it comes back to the amazing stories from the first trilogy as well as the unique designs. On moviewise, I can see a possibility of Nintendo making one based off Thousand Year Door and the first one perhaps. After all, the only other areas in regards of stories and plots that they could bring from the Mario series are not many. Besides of Mario Land, they have to go to the stories from the RPG series to bring scenarios, enemies and exchangeable plots that they could use...and maybe as a way to have a "break", they could do some change of direction and put a Paper Mario animated movie
