The Wandering Samuai appears in one of Gamer's microgames :

The Wrestler and Reporter from Ringside make a cameo during Captain Wario's intro :

Did you know that in one of the intros to WarioWare, Inc: Mega Party Game$, a pencil drawing of a tree with houses in it can be seen? This tree is actually concept art for the background eventually used for the Bossa Nova game in Rhythm Heaven Fever, several years later.
