The guide made me laugh in one way:

The pirates in this mountain have been warned about Wario so they're better prepared than their buddies in Rice Beach.

Like the minotaur boss that goes down in three seconds? Don't think he was particularly prepared for anything.

And maybe:

Sherbet Isle is the isle that looks best frozen

That's a suspiciously narrow superlative...

Oh, and a secret underground mining operation? That's the first explanation I've ever heard for the trains in Parsely Woods...

Finally, no, Syrup Castle probably isn't made of gold. Didn't the colour scheme decider ever play Wario Land II? It's purple...

The castle in Land 1 is completely different thought, it was build around the golden Peach statue and Syrup blew it up in the end, the one from Land 2 has to be a different castle entirely, meaning that the Land 1 one could very well be out of gold, especially if Denpû had a hand in it's creation.
