Honestly I could see Wario being into environmental causes but there's a catch, he wouldn't actually care about the cause but it would benefit him in some way. Like say for example he discovered a new green energy some how, all he will talk about...

I always thought that it was supposed to be the opposite of Mario's eyes-- he has a blue ring around his pupil with the white encroaching it, Wario has white with blue surrounding it. In other words, the blue and white (sort of) switch places

Truth! However the only reason I dislike the switch 2 is the price hikes. If I wanna get games I want them to be affordable. But unfortunately tarrifs and greed have caused the price hikes to happen to begin with -
