In games like Super Smash Bros, when compared to the rest of the Wario series? Cause while it never exactly gets much in the way of marketing or a fanbase, it does seem like Nintendo seems to think the Wario series only consists of it.
Both series have fairly similar sales figures. Unfortunately, both sets of sales figures share on similarity; they're both a fair bit lower than they should be.
And if you're wondering the specifics... both series have one or two games which have sold really well (Wario Land 1, WarioWare Touched), a bunch of games which sold decently/well (Wario Land 2, 4, WarioWare original and Smooth Moves) and a bunch which failed pretty hard (maybe Wario Master of Disguise for Land, Game & Wario for WarioWare).
