Daisy's debut game was developed by Nintendo R&D1 (MEtroid, Wario, lot of one-off games). beside mario kart, she hasn't appeared in any EAD games as far as I can remember.

Nintendo SPD was divised in four group. SPD1 was essentially a downscaled Nintendo R&D1 and made Warioware, Rhythm HEaven and other things, while the other SPD # groups were tiny teams overseeing games made by western studios and Japanese third-parties (SPD 2 also developed an handful of simple puzzle games, but nothing worth mentioning). Neither EAD and SPD exist as of September 16 of this year, as they were merged in a new devision calle "nintendo epd".
