So I really tried to come up with a good and easy to understand thread title for this, and that^ was the best I could come up with : p

So sadly, it will probly be a thread that you have to actually read the opener to understand : / But anywho, yeah like... you know how you like something that everyone else either hates or considers weird and makes a big deal about people who like it? Im sure we all have something like that. Especially being Nintendo fans, cuz only little kids like Nintendo and all : p But yeah, anything thats considered weird or lame or dumb that you like without shame, post here : p


I really like cheesy stuff : p I like really like uhhh.... cute-sy design stuff. Like I really enjoy things like hearts and stars and peace signs and flowers and junk like that. I like bright and vivid colors, and cheerful things like that. Those things are generally considered childish, but I like them a bunch, they really cheer me up. I dont know why an adult should have to avoid these things : p

Also the headstock of my bass guitar has hearts and a peace sign that I drew on it, but I dont have a picture of it surprisingly. I do have pictures of it before I drew them, though : p

I also really like bright and cheerful JRPGs. It seems like everyone likes JRPGs that are all intense and serious, like Final Fantasy and junk. But I dont : p I like the cheerful happy-go-lucky ones, haha theyre way great : p
And games like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, I think most people really think those games are for kids, which they believe that only because the games are so light-hearted and cheerful. Even though much of the content is really adult sometimes : p
 
Not gonna lie, I'm into some very mushy stuff, ranging from love songs, to adoring cute things, to activly looking out for shipping fanart, because a lot of it just makes me go awww :

How embarrasing I would consider this sort of varys, there was a point in my life where I was regulary questioning my own masculinity, because of the typical image of what a man/boy is supposed to be, but as time went on I have grown more open about it. I have been in a relationship before and many girls I have met in my life told me that they find my sensitive and emotional traits very charming, so as the years went on I have become more confident to be open about it, but it's still not something I would scream into the world.

If anything, being comfortable with what you like shows confidence which is considered masculine.
 
Yeah, I guess so, it just took a while for that comfort to grow, but it happened eventually and that's all that really matters.
 
I have a bit of an affinity for cuteness, and I'm pretty open about it, but then again, I also don't exactly consider myself the most masculine individual anyway. Plus, like you said, it's generally considered a positive thing to have a bit of a sensitive side. I'm perfectly comfortable with presenting myself that way, since it's a good representation of who I am, and it makes me seem very nonthreatening and approachable.
 
Oh is that Savage Garden? Haha Ive never actually seen their faces before : p I grew up with them, my mom listened to them like every day when we were kids : p I like them too, yeah.
 
Yeah it's them however in recent years both of their hairlines have receded to say the least. Yeah I heard them all the time from my dad when I was growing up same with Genesis and Sting(singer).
 
I hate Sting's solo career, actually : p But I liked the Police. In fact Roxeanne is like one of my all time favorite songs, haha I really like that song : p

Uhhhhh, am trying to think of embarrasing things I like, but for the most part the things I like I dont consider embarrasing : p I DO have an Amy Rose keychain on my bag, Im sure there are people who would think thats lame : p
 
I love Roxanne too, man Roxanne you don't have to put on a red light! I thought some of Sting's stuff was alright when he went solo, like Desert Rose. Amy Rose keychain? Well that's not bad. Not sure if this should go here and I'm probably in the minority here but I don't like Sonic and his franchise, though this should probably go to unpopular game opinions however idk how popular or unpopular this opinion is. Yeah I don't think I have anything else embarrassing I like although... here's one last thing before that.....

I like Sonic though Ive barely played any of the games from it : p I just like the cheesy characters, is totally something I could get into : p Oh but not Sonic, hes my least favorite character of the franchise : p

And haha I love that song! I mostly like Creed, I just have to be in the right mood for them : p But I occasionally really get into that song for like days : p Or have in the past anywho : p

Its really hard to think of anything for this thread, btw : p Am surprised I had the confidence to start it when I did : p Will think about it.
 
When it comes to Sonic I only really like the music, I went back and played the original 3 Sonic games for Genesis but I guess since I didn't grow up with the series I can't get myself to get into them. Oh man Creed that's like another one of those very Grudge bands alongside Nickelback that's not bad, yeah this thread can really make you think about anything that you might find embarrassing. After you've posted though you feel that much stronger at least I did hah.
 
1. I like moeblob anime
2. Seinfeld is kinda funny to me
3. I thought mighty no. 9 was fun. (Mega Man is still superior so don't get it twisted)
4. Obviously i like nintendo and i'm in my 20's
5. As a kid i had fun wearing Soap shoes of all things, I even still have my pair put away.
6. Cute things all the way.
7. I still think HeMan as FourNonBlondes is hilarious in 2016.
 
Seinfeld is good but it's like slightly polarizing. While general held in high regard, the few people who don't like it really don't like it.
 
I guess wrestling is something Im embarrassed about liking. Like, I usually dont even tell people that I like it : p
