Wario's Woods has unique music in the European version?

CM30

Diamond City Mayor
Diamond City Leader

According to Supper Mario Broth it does anyway. Another boss theme plays during the European one that's not present in the Japanese or North American versions of the game.

I've attached the tune to this topic.

So which one do you prefer and why?

It's definitely an interesting fact, I'll give it that. I don't know if I can really pick between the two, but at the end of the day I think I'd go with the European version, if only because it's more musically interesting and I could probably listen to it longer without getting sick of it.

Edit: well, time-stretching as a means of getting these two songs to mesh is apparently out the window. Oh, and also, I've listened to both a decent number of times since I started attempting it, and goddamn the European boss theme is miles better. Sounds way more like a Wario tune as well, those downward square wave scales are weird and kind of off-putting, plus you got those ebbing/flowing duty cycle trills that are kinda spooky-- perfect for Early Wario, especially since I'm pretty sure the "boss" in question is always Wario. Given how much of a freakin' Mainland European cryptid early Wario was, it's pretty fitting that the European version gets the vibe that much closer, even though the composer was probably the same, and the boss battle changing its tune (kek) was likely the result of the European version being released upwards of one year after the JP/NA versions.
