A Kaizo Wario Hack?

How in the world can it be that we get a (seemingly) high effort Kaizo hack but no "normal" Wario Land hacks or fangames...
Oh well. I suck at kaizo, but might as well try it

There's one traditional romhack of WL1 in progress CM30 talked about : https://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=40244.0
If we don't have much, it's probably for similar reasons as SML2 (which got none). Then ... there's this fangame of yours we're waiting for. :warioscheme:

There was also that Wario Land 3 hack you were working on... what happened to that one?

And the Master Quest hacks Tiger made, though I'm not sure they change the levels as much as I'd like.

This summer I made a few bits of code for 1st cutscene, that's all. I'd love to work full-time on this hack but I'm already busy working on other difficult artistic projects (not mentioning IRL problems these past 2 years draining my soul). To compensate I proposed technical help to author of WL3 AMB (promising hack) but he wants it pure vanilla, so ... We're all kinda working as lone wolves doing our own thing, which is not bad (so annoying to wait/depend on others or argue on the way to go), but makes everything a marathon.

Ah fair enough. What are the other projects you're working on anyway?

I hope that the other artistic projects you are working through come to fruition. But more importantly, that the IRL problems that you have been dealing with lately passes and you are able to continue your journey(life) without so much pain

Stuff that isn't related to wario and will bore you (unless you like parodies of german philosophy with constant innuendo) except music where it's pumping (though a bit too hard for anyone). But this topic is starting to become a Blanchon's contemporary art gallery, so I'll stop here.

Wait...you're german too?
Hallöchen!
Guess I learned somethin' new today lol

I find it kinda neat you're reading the works of German philosophers, as someone who studied philosophy in university. What ones are you reading?
Nietzsche mainly. I started to read him out of spite (being christian platonician) then my interest grew as I read more of it. Books from all periods : Human too human I & II, Beyond Good and Evil, Antichrist, Ecce Homo, Twilight of the Idols, The Case of Wagner, On the Genealogy of Morality, Philosophy in the Tragic Age of the Greeks, On the Advantage and Disadvantage of History for Life, his pamphlet against David Strauss, his conferences on the future of german educational institutions, few parts of his Zarathoustra, pieces of Dawn and his "Gai Savoir" ... Reading him using a scientific edition (GF) so I get to see fragments and quotes of other less known works too. Tried reading other german authors like Marx and Schopenhauer, but seeing how time consuming it was to study the hammer man I didn't go further. There's so much you can read nowadays, but too little you can actually absorb before you transform into a philosophy teacher or a dilettante.

I'm more interested in history books than philosophy nowadays, getting material to write my own book. Currently making a comical commentary of Plato's Laws where I parody a nietzschean "freethinker" (real person) violating every rules of hermeneutics ; a commentary inserted in the middle of a terrible neo-aztec fantasy narrated by the same individual : layers and layers of (controlled) stupidity that are headaches to composed - already 2 years on this shit, and it's not even finished ...
