Ah yeah, the ghost pirate I remember being called Captain Coin before the Japanese name was found by the wiki folks. But I can see those characters returning in some form.

You can also press x to jump too. It may not be the iconic jump button, but at least you can still use your right thumb to jump if it's that important to you.

As someone who played a lot of flash games growing up, I think I'm fine with up on the D-pad being for jumping. It's easy enough to get used to.

It'd be cool if they brought together a bunch of things throughout the WL games as well as a bunch of characters from Land and Ware all in one game. Kinda like what this Paper Wario fan game is doing

If we ever get a remake of Wario World, I really hope we get the superior version. Japan's Black Jewel actually felt like a fight, unlike ours.

I noticed he complained about the jump button being up on the D-pad, but it really wasn't that big of an inconvenience. And I'm pretty sure they did that intentionally because the stylus was such a big part of the game.
