If S-Hard didn't count, then I'd have to reconsider. But yeah, you're right. Hard is pretty much just Normal, and the Normal difficulty is just a very polite way of saying Baby Mode.

Wario Land 4 is a weird one, since I think it could probably be counted as both the easiest and hardest game depending on what difficulty level you play it at.

For hardest, I'm gonna go with WL4 because of S-Hard mode. But for easiest, easily Shake It.

I also thought it was too hard as a kid. I played the 3DS Version so I exploited the hell of the assist mode. Made it to Cackletta and... lost my cartridge along with Sticker Star when I was at my grandparents house. I only beat it 4-5 years...

While maybe not in my top 5 video games, Superstar Saga is probably my favorite RPG of all time. Specifically the 3DS remake but the GBA game also rules.
