I've been playing a lot of 2D Mario recently and is it weird that one I had the most fun with was SMB1? There's something so cool about speeding through the levels due to how linear they are the other games just don't have.
I was gonna something a bit gloomy because I've not been feeling but you know what? Screw that! Saying pessimistic things won't make anything better. You can't predict life, so don't expect it to only get worse like I sometimes do!
I mean, you can't die in 2 and 3, but that doesn't necessarily make them easy. The games can still be punishing in other ways. They're not unforgivably hard, but I wouldn't say they're laughably easy either.
As for WL4, I always play on S-Hard...
