I like that each game gets its own villain, because it shows all the different types of people who are even worse than Wario. Though I'd be happy with cameos from former bosses if they're integrated well, and of course Syrup as a recurring...
Very happy to see the makeup system from Miitopia Switch here again, along with free doodling! Though the lack of the songwriting feature is my one concern. Maybe it'll be a surprise release reveal.
I also wanted to mention this custom WL3 bossfight by BlanchonUltime (another member here!) that builds off of the owl "form" in that game. Another cool example for a direction the boss fights can take.
I just realized the letter Z is kind of like the Wario to the letter S. Flipped, more jagged, comes afterward... and last. Don't tell him I said that bit!
Personally I find that the reactions being annoying/time-wasting in II/3 is part of the intention, since they paint Wario as very stubborn and determined to get what he wants, even if it means repeatedly put himself through such humiliating...
That's an interesting point there. I suspect part of it is because most transformations are more about navigation than attacking, like Vampire Wario, Puffy Wario, Bubble Wario, Frozen Wario, etc, while others are more punishments (Frozen Wario...
There are two types of bosses, arena type bosses where transformations will knock you out of the ring, and traditional health type bosses that may or may not include transformations that will stall for time when racing against the clock such as...
It's something I would like in a Wario Land sequel for sure. I suspect the main reason they didn't build fights around them is because, like CM30 said, a lot of them either revolve around unpredictable, forced movement (Flaming, Ball 'o String...
If this hypothetical Wario movie is in the style of these Mario movies, I wouldn't expect them to focus on one series given how much material they love to pack in to 90 minutes of runtime. I could see an interesting concept from trying to...
Huh, didn't expect them to add a bunch of Mario 2 stuff; Birdo is understandable but I wonder how they're gonna work those other bosses in... answer: they aren't because this is a silly fanservice movie. Still kind of cool to see Mouser...
In terms of consistency across consoles, Golf is the most common Mario sport game besides Tennis, with it also getting a new release on the original Switch, so I suspect that one the most. Maybe they'll whip up something new for the other more...
Didn't expect someone to actually make Wario the main character, add Keyser as a pet and add the remastered Wario Land 4 tracks as music replacements:
