The Wii/DS era was the peak of when Nintendo was actively catering to casual gamers with tons of mini-game collections. Makes sense that WarioWare would do exceptionally well on those systems since that was their peak environment.

Got a through a minigame door. When went out of it, it got the Wario sprite all messed up. The game was perfectly playbale, thogh so I just finished the level with it, saved and hard reset the emulator.
