I will admit that even though I went in to the Direct with no expectations, I didn't find anything that truly changed the game for me, but I'm happy for those who did. At least now we know the next obligatory Fire Emblem microgame, though.
It's also possible that there was a lot of voice actor swapping going on from Touched! to Smooth Moves meaning that both Swan and Ninomiya have legitimately voiced him, although the lack of any kind of by-character credits will make this hard to verify. In any case, it's fortunate that Melissa...
Mouse Mode I agree would probably be the safest bet and would probably put Drag x Drive to shame, although good luck fitting Intelligent Systems' obligatory Fire Emblem microgame onto that.
Sadly, this turned out to be the correct answer. No patch to Move It! was ever created, and the 1.0.0 version blithedly believes the Joy Con 2 are prim and proper Joy Con originals including the IR camera. Attempting to play an IR camera microgame anyway results in no camera feed, dooming you to...
I doubt either of the two Switch WarioWares need nor should get a paid Switch 2 Edition, but I would love for at least GIT to get GameShare support for its rarely used (?) Local Multiplayer function to truly be worth playing. Move It should also get new graphics for the S2 Joy-Con and disable IR...
Marine Day featured Mona in her Move It outfit out to see the waves... but annoyingly, I missed out on archiving it this time. Maybe next year.
Edit: One further thought; is this the only example of a single game-specific artwork being used on the contact page? All the others use the standard...
Princess Shokora as the new Fantasy genre microgame host when? She'd make a sweet change of pace from the high octane Dribble and Spitz, or the twisted Ashley.
Edit: Speaking of, it would also be quite the missed opportunity if her fail animation doesn't involve her baby or brat forms in some way.
That concept where Alphadream allegedly proposed a Wario RPG featuring Peach (why not Mona?) as the other character in the formula comes to mind. I'm sure there's plenty of untapped methods Intelligent Systems (most likely) could work the actual WarioWare microgames and cast into a deeper dive...
For me it's one of those "I'll get it when I get it" things. It's not a particularly high priority given there's currently only two games of note to play, but time will give it more.
Somehow I think GIT's Daily Grind was meant to be a proof of concept for a Ware-inspired Wario Land imagining. If so, I imagine Wario Land 4 could work if developed by Intelligent Systems.
Now all that is left to do is a mix that re-adds the original Mega Microgames! vocals on top. That's how I imagined the song ever since I heard it in that clip, and it would be a shame to miss out on reliving that.
The odd thing about it is that the course doesn't otherwise appear to be based on anything that one might associate with Drifting Away, which may lend credence to it just being a random song selected in lieu of whatever music normally plays there as suggested in #2. But who knows, maybe there'll...
There's ways to make it work, even in unexpected ways. Take if we decided to put her in a WarioWare stage; the failure animation could force her back into her cat form. Should beating the microgame allow her to assume the powerful G&W form though?
I would love to see later games explore Lulu's crush on Young Cricket as a story. But whether she can ever find it within herself to host such a stage, that's a question.
