I think more so the Wario Land 3 jingle was referenced if that is the case, but I do believe the origin jingle of WL3 Chest Unlocked jingle was definitely inspired by the past title's jingle in someway. Again I hear a very similar progression in terms of notes making it seem to be a homage...
Not sure if this is common knowledge or if someone has already posted this, but the Boss Clear jingle that appears WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames! seems to be the same one from Wario Land 2 after clearing certain bosses.

Out of the Woods in my opinion speaks volumes for what Wario is all about, as well as Greenhorn Forest most themes of his that represent each era like Stonecarving City are good songs on their own but those are my favorites in my opinion.
Now all they need to do is cash in on the success and nostalgia of rabid Wario Land fans, desperately waiting for a new installment to the series by actually developing a new game.
Super Mario Strikers had Wario use his Farts for one of his specials in the game I believe. Honestly I don't mind all the Warioware, Wario World and Wario Land references as it all fits what makes Wario, "Wario" in the first place. He eats garlic for Christ sake and other gross undigestable...
