Each figurine is the character selection pose from Smash U. Nintendo is releasing new amiibos for Mario Party of Mario and the main crew. Wario and Waluigi will probably get their own separate amiibos.

Waaaaaaaaaa Wario amiibo announced via Nintendo Direct today. Apparently each amiibo can only be used once per game so I have to buy multiple amiibos for Mario Party and Smash. Meh.

I still think the Wii U has yet to max out it's potential in terms of multiplayer party ambitions. With the gamepad and some remotes/controllers there's still new innovation to be had.

I think the upcoming Mario Maker is Nintendo's idea of throwing the white flag on anymore new side scrolling Mario games to be released. Which is sad because they still have so much more concepts and ideas to offer.

The concept is it is open world but different parts of the city can have different levels. And it's mainly open world because it's the Wii U and we'd get to see Diamond City refined in beautiful HD. When I say that the city is turned upside down literally, I think about how Wario and Waluigi...

Also quick question to those of you because I've only played G&W for about an hour now and have surprisingly enjoyed it. For multiplayer, is it basically just x players but take turns with gamepad, or can you do gamepad + 3 controllers for 4 players?
