Or an unexpected newcomer from nowhere, like Pyoro or something.

Who do you think is going to be the next Wario newcomer, when one actually gets announced?
 
While there are many great options, I think it's going to be Ashley, because she's the most popular Wario character as a whole. Besides, there has yet to be a playable loli, so it would make Smash more appealing to the Touhou/etc fanboys.

I like Ashley, but this makes me a bit sad because the Wario series is much richer than Ashley and Kat/Ana, yet they are the ones with the most Smash exposure.
 
I'd like to think it's going to be Captain Syrup because she was in Shake It! as well as the older games. Besides Toon Link I doubt there is any real pirate character in Smash as of yet.

I heard a rumor that due to no one ever playing as Mr.Game & Watch,they might cut him before the next Smash Bros. game (not counting Super Smash Bros 3DS and Super Smash Bros. U) which means Mr. G.W. will not be seen in SSB 6

That's a very stupid rumour... Do you know how many people played Super Smash Bros 3ds? Over 100 for sure. It's almost impossible that no one ever played as Mr. Game & Watch.

More like over 9000 and I'm not joking. There are also challenges in Smash requiring the use of every character and his impact as Nintendo's first handheld system (as well as the building block for cheap electronic toys) so he is far from forgotten and it would be a shame if he was ever not in a Smash title after the current gen. Maybe the G&W from WL4 or assist items in WL4 would be in the next smash.
 
I wouldn't know who the next playable Wario character is. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing 9-Volt being playable. I would also like to see Kat, Ana and/or Ashley take the Little Mac route and go beyond Assist Trophies.
