Probably because a lot of people only trust japanese sources when it comes to what information can be considert "canon", Ashley being one of the only two Ware characters (the other one being Dr Crygor) to have an age stated in any source probably helps too.
Is it save to say that judging from this and Yoshi's Island DS, Wario would be around 26 as well? It seems like it could work, given that Wario doesn't really seem any older then Mario in YIDS.
I've always considered Ashley's age to be 15, since that's the only thing close to an official age we got. (She has no age in Japan though.)

And for Orbulon, in the character stats for Mega Party Game$ his age is stated to be 2003 years. That game was from 2003, so he would be 2016 now.

To be honest I figured as much but to be fair I'm one of those people who actually does legitimately get intrigued by those relatively unimportant mysteries (in other words, the question at face value applies to me). How old is she exactly, that's actually a damn good question, because we keep getting mixed messages. Either way, we know that this cat's gonna have a sultry-as-hell deep-parentheses-for-a-girl-parentheses voice when she's older, given the timbre it's at currently.
also semi-related I can't really stand Penny Crygor's new voice (or Jimmy's for that matter but that's not as bad), Wario was def. the star of the show on that note. At least since Ashley's low-key emo they can't get away with making her sound annoying.
