BigMagma isn't being mean. He's just trying to help you understand the do's and don'ts of forums and the internet in general. Bumping with nothing worthwhile to say is indeed pointless and just clogs up the forums.

That's understandable. On the first forum I joined, there was this guy who I thought was mean. He'd always reply to every thread I posted in and give me advice on how to post better. I thought he was saying I was stupid. In reality, they're just trying to make it better for everyone, and sometimes they will get fed up.
