It'll never be easy losing somebody you care for, especially your teacher. Hope she rests in peace.

Thank you guys. It still feels surreal to me. My mind is kind of bouncing around the stages of grief instead of actually going about them in order.

I remember that post, and I'm sorry to hear that, King. You can be proud and grateful in the knowledge you knew a good woman. Instead of cursing mortality, you can honour her life by celebrating your own, and the glorious footprint she left behind.

I think the saddest thing of all is that, during life, we're not all lucky enough to cross paths with such wonderful people - and yet you have.
