I've never played Gamer (not making anyone buy a wii u) but it looks fun. Playing microgames past your bedtime while trying to stay awake to beat the stage or play for fun and not get caught by your demon mom.

Now I've personally never played Game & Wario, so I can't say from personal experience, but the fact that Gamer is one of the most well loved parts of Game & Wario based from what I heard I think definitely has a big part in people being excited for it's return in Gold. As well as the mere surprise of seeing any of Game & Wario's Minigames to begin with in Gold as I don't think a lot of people were expecting to see them (Though I could be very much wrong.). Also people who weren't interested in Game & Wario can now play what is considered by many to be it's best game without having to buy Game & Wario. Which I think adds a bit to it.

Now these are just my theories, I could be totally wrong here and I probably sound like a jackass, but I think those could be playing a part.

I mean, my confusions stems from the fact that the "Gamer" part of G&W was the "WarioWare mode" of what was essentially a collection of non-WarioWare minigames. And so for it to be a part of what *is* a full WarioWare game seems kind of unnecessary.
