Too many for any regular person to count. To be honest I think it's kind of cool, 'cause it means someone on the Wario team was into Hip Hop.

Not necessarily, but that was the impression I was under. CMV does kind of sound like a hip-hop instrumental, though, now that I think about it, especially with that EP as the lead instrument.
Too many of the frequencies in this first snare hit & the CMV snare line up for this to be a complete coincidence-- especially when you take the higher amount of compression to be found on it (and the C#3 drum, as well-- very suspicious). At the very least, it has to be the same model of snare.
