I must be a beta virgin, because only Rick "Chad" Goldschmidt would know the answer to this question

The lines are:
"No, *Billy* be square! and *Zoe* be round!" (To which Olie exasperatedly responds, "no, Zoey, BEWARE.")
and
"Fat Albert, how can *anyone* be so *round*, and so *square,* at the same time?"
Both of these lines come from their respective Halloween specials, which I actually only realized after I'd finished writing the prompt.

oh yeah I had a snowball's chance in hell of knowing this because 1. what in 'e fuck is a Rolie Polie Ollie Johnston and 2. I misinterpreted that question as "Your clue is a line from a Rankin-Bass special" because of all the previous references you made to Rankin-Bass and I assumed you meant one of those specials even though it makes no sense I'm a phuckwit

Yeah, I could've worded it better, but at the same time it was supposed to be written shittily.
Anyways, Roly Poly Olie was a CGI show about robots that lived in a world which was *kind* of like the Jetsons? I especially remember liking the Night Before Christmas one that they did, because the dad is literally an Elvis impersonation.
The Halloween one had two parts, and the one I referenced saw Olie & Billy's Older Brother make a haunted house themed around "Spookie Ookie," who turns out to not only be real, but like actually frightening to me as a child (and in the second half, too), because it's pretty much a dude who trespasses onto your property and makes animalistic noises at you while also being twice your size, and-- ah, just look it up. I'm sure it's not as good as I remember (no duh), but it couldn't have been TOO bad, seeing as how my parents didn't hate it.

The second half saw Zoe dreaming about the legend, since the aforementioned pair are reciting the parts of it they can remember in the background. She uses the magic remote to activate all these things, including a pumpkin staircase up to the sky, and somewhere along the lines ends up meeting Ookie, who ended up being my first exposure to the Sympathetic Crazy Person character. It was so polarizing the way it all went down-- Ookie's house was locked from the inside, but Zoe refused to give him the remote. When shit starts going south, Zoe ends up dreaming up an Olie that comes to save her. When Ookie fails to take the remote, it's Zoe who prevents Olie from going any further. They set off to leave and the pumpkin man breaks down, left outside his house forever... that is, until Zoe is like 'wellll that ain't cool' and opens the house for him.

Simple stuff in the end but when you're a kid that shit is like whaaat. I think the fact that I remember it so well even after over a decade during which a shitton of memories evaporated just proves how fascinated I was.
