The Gaming Historian covers Super Mario Land games...

Because if you knew English when you started playing, it would have been quite logical that you realised the theme. ;) But if you're Dutch, and did start playing it early... well, that's interesting! I guess some people do recognise it easily. :)

The Gaming Historian covers Super Mario Land games...

I couldn't make sure: are you Dutch? At what age did you start playing?

The Gaming Historian covers Super Mario Land games...

My comment: Woah, I never realised the food theme in Wario Land. ._. Kitchen Island, Rice Beach, Mt. Teapot... Sherbet Land also, of course... and the SS Tea Cup! Woaah, Tea Cup!! That references a cup for tea!! And wait - Captain Syrup! Syrup! Aaah

    Favorite Video Game Composers

Alberto José González is a great composer, and as far as I've talked to him quite a nice guy! :D It's nice you link a tune that was in Lucky Luke as an example - although this particular tune wasn't made for the game but put in because Mr. González didn't have enough time to create something new...

An Idea I had and carried out

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe certainly has a lot of content! It was my first game, and also @wariolandgoldpiramid's. It's got the original game, a challenge mode where you can play each level separately to find 5 red coins, find a hidden Yoshi egg, and beat a certain high score, a race mode with 8...

An Idea I had and carried out

You mean the first one I hope, and not Infurnal Escape? I've heard the latter is terrible. :P

An Idea I had and carried out

Hi, it's me again! This is a repost from another forum, but I think more people might be interested here. :) Monday morning I got the idea of laying out all Game Boy games I had on me and in my room. This was my entire collection, minus two games that were at my parental home, some games that...

Do you have any pet peeves?

How about the locks on the doors? More people will have touched those than the flush button.

    Unpopular Opinions for Everything Else

Beat them in what regard? I know this is the unpopular opinions thread, but I'm curious. :P Sound quality I highly doubt, if you're comparing €3 headphones to €16 earbuds. Although I'll have to admit I am not a very fine hearer, as I usually export music to around 90 kbps.

Do you have any pet peeves?

Interesting to know they exist in the USA. I experienced those at an airfield in Italy and it was very inconvenient. I don't think I've ever seen one in the Netherlands, though.

Woah, while laying my Game Boy collection out on the floor, I found some games missing from the written collection on my website, among which Wario Land 4. :P How did I never notice that wasn't on there?

    Any worst microgames?

I wouldn't dislike it if it wasn't so easy to get 999. But I guess they didn't want to make it humanly impossible either, so it was hard to balance. Anyway, it's not well balanced now, at least not if you're playing only this micro game (because while doing collections you'll lose some time to...

    Any worst microgames?

The one with the apple. It's the only micro game (so far at least) I've had to intentionally fail on, as I was completely fed up with it. And from a certain number onward the speed doesn't increase anymore, so I wasn't going to fail otherwise.

FL Tips - a list of useful techniques and other things I've found to be useful while working in FL

Good job, you have guessed what software I use on Windows. xD OpenMPT and MuseScore 2, indeed. :P But I feel like for some types of music a piano roll program would be more suitable than a tracker or note-based program. So that's why I made my first comment. ;)
