But skill doesn't have to be about soft resets, that encourages the use of save states. It would be better if it were more like WL2's The Really Final Chapter. It's got challange, but you only have to redo one room at most.

I'd say Wario Land 3 is worst.

Yeah, that one there, I do not remember finding it. Wario Land 4 does a good job of always having some sort of indication. But this is just one of those "hey, isn't this room weird and suspicous? look around and figure it out" scenarios... Doesn't work here...
