  • It still saddens me that Superstar Saga got a very rushed remake on the 3DS, rather than a full-out remaster on the Switch.
The lazy sprite usage, and the removed animations really make this game lose a lot of it's charm.
I heard some people say it's no big deal, but come on. How can you possibly have a university statue coming to life and attacking you, replaced with it re-using the laser from the mountain battle, and call that no big deal?

Bowser's Inside Story DX at least had a reason to be on 3DS, with all of the touch controls. Even the side game, Bowser's Jr Journey, is quite good, vast improvement over Minion Quest.

But damn, that Superstar Saga remake...

If only we could make our remake of it, without Nintendo taking us down...
I am thinking of naming my Wario Land 3 story - "Music Box Chronicles".
Does that sound like a good name?

It sounds good, maybe add a ‘the’ at the beginning to make it roll off of the tongue better. I played with the name a bit and got “The Chronicles of the Music Box,” but that’s just me. Looking forward to the story.

Seems like a good name to me, especially with the at the front of it.
I'm making a Wario level in Super Mario Maker (on an emulator, so if you want to play it, that's also only possible on an emulator). But I gotta say, i REALLY wish a certain SMB3 item was available in the SMW theme, it would have been the absolutly PERFECT use of it. Sadly, that's not something I can do...
Yet another WL3 LPer decides to not go to the Temple until getting all 100 treasure... I feel like I'll be one of the very few to do things differently...

My very first Wario Land 3 completion had me going to the temple before getting 100 treasures! I now prefer getting all 100 treasures before going to the temple, because it seems to be fitting to get the final music box last! I call any treasures that people seem to get post game 'Extra Treasures'!
Well, blast... There's my first negative rating. Why did you rate one of my old posts "boring"? Did you just mis-click?
Only 3 levels left, and my SMB1 romhack will be complete. Can't believe it was started back in 2015... that's what you call an on-and-off development...

That's about 3 years in development. Danm.

Well, I've lost and gained interest in it multiple times. Not to mention tried other projects in Lunar Magic and RPG Maker.

Eh, it's not that crazy to be honest. I mean, Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and Brutal Mario were in development for nearly a decade, and neither got anywhere near being finished. A Doom mod called Mordeth was (at one point, no idea about its current status) in development longer than Duke Nukem Forever, to the point the latter started and finished development in the time between its first demo and now.

ROM hack and fan game development takes a LONG time, as does video game development in general. Just ask the guy who spent 13 years making his dream game:

I actually won a toy in a claw machine. And it only cost me 50 russian rubles ($0,81) to play 5 games. I feel acomplished. *sets mood to... oh right, Moods are gone from the website*

He's either lucky, as most modern claw machines are rigged. Or he's been playing with older machines which aren't rigged.

Moods are temporarily gone. There's plans to bring them back.

Just the other day I saw a claw game at the funfair with a Wario plushie in it. It was too expensive for me though (2,50 euro's or US$ 2,93 for three games), and I'm not really good at these kind of games. Didn't know you're Russian by the way.
Despite not having a modern Nintendo console, I still get exsited for Nintendo at E3, and barely follow any other company at E3 unless it just somehow gets into my news radar...
Am I the only one who never EVER even considered scipping an episode of a tv show? Until I started reading/watching reviews of Avatar, i literally had NO IDEA people do that...

Used to regulary skip Spongebob episodes in early 2010, before fully quitting some months later. It felt like the show deteriorated too much.

Well, Spongebob is an episodic show. I'm actually talking of shows with story arcs.

Maybe Mythbusters counts? It doesn't have a story arch, but I used to not watch episodes of that show too before I ceased watching for I don't know why.
