  • Hey Robin, you know how if you have two identical sounds playing the same notes at the same time, the delay from one's DAW causes their phasing to get all fucked? I've done a couple things with 8-bit and had this problem-- in particular I remember this recreation I did of Bubble Man, and you know how the first lead is a Square Wave, with that neat kind of effect on its sound as a result of layering.
I was wondering if you knew of any way to combat that besides exporting to mp3 over and over to check up on how the affected area sounds in practice. I've asked Google the same thing before, but I dunno of any way I could get the answers I'm looking for, now that Google results are so cluttered with oh-so-many pages that are mostly unhelpful but contain key words. (If you don't know that's perf. fine, like I said I have that repeated export method I can try : 0})

I've had that happen where it kept the weird sound after rendering. I don't know any trick for that, but I'd just use one note and increase its velocity to boost it. If you want it to play on the same stereo position that it.
    Cool Amiibo collection!
Wait, since when were you from the UK? I thought if was somewhere else...

I'm living in the UK for a few years now, but I'm from Portugal.

Which area, if you don't mind my asking? As I understand it you could drive for maybe 15 minutes and be in a completely different world, especially as far as Scotland's concerned.
    So...
Did you look at your profile pic, think 'It has to be SCARIER! IT MUST INTIMIDATE!'
Because if so, you succeeded, I'm a tiny bit scared.

I won't delete it, this is an insensitive thing I said, and I'm OK with that because I've admitted it's a mistake and it's past me.
If you notice that I can't take a joke, you're right, I can't. I'm not only on edge because my life is a waiting game of torture and I'm honestly salty about the forums. I'm trying to get better but I need time to recollect. Hopefully everything around me gets better, cause I'm going crazy slowly.

Well, to help out with the whole community aspect that's bothering you, you're welcome to talk to me if you ever want to get anything off your mind. Of course our personal problems are very different but there's a lot we have in common when it comes to frustrations we've had with this place.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Although, recently, aside from what you already know, things are going well, it's just my terrible tendency to hold memories and grudges for years. Hard to dissipate
